Event Details

As an alumni of LeadBoston, you have already spent time talking about race, class and social justice. We invite you to delve deeper with other LeadBoston alumni, friends and loved ones through the YWCA’s Community Dialogues.

The Community Dialogues are multi-session, professionally facilitated discussions about race, ethnicity and community. The model allows for an honest and respectful conversation and leads participants to reflect on their own lives, learn from each other’s experiences and consider the impact racism has on the neighborhoods where they work and live. Together the group will consider ways to make change and impact these issues.

The dialogues are strengthened when there is a diverse mix of experiences and backgrounds amongst participants. Please consider lending your voice to this critical conversation in what continues to be one of the country's most segregated cities.

Logistics:

Wednesdays, from 6 - 8 pm

January 18, 25, February 1 and 8. Please commit to attending the majority of sessions as each week builds on the previous.

Refreshments will be served, but feel free to bring a brown bag dinner.
